Mini-Cupcake Pops

 30 August 2011

After being inspired by a recipe and picture tutorial that Angie at A Little Inspiration posted a few weeks ago, I decided to attempt to create the "Mini-Cupcake Pop"

As her directions said, I used a box cake mix and baked the mini-cupcakes according to the directions given on the box, modifying the bake time due to the smaller size of the cupcake.

After the cupcakes were done baking I took them out of the muffin pan and allowed them to sit until they were cool to the touch.

Once cool, I stuck the lollipop sticks into the bottom of the cupcake, frosted and added the sprinkles!

These were super easy to make, especially for a novice chef/baker like myself. I will definitely be keeping these in mind when Autumn's birthday rolls around!
