Favorite Thing Friday

I am joining in the "Favorite Thing Friday" blog hop hosted by Jenny at Sippy Cup Chronicles.

My favorite thing this Friday are fresh cut flowers. Last spring Steve and I planted two rose bushes in our front yard, since then I have been waiting for summer to roll around so that we could see them bloom. Since the beginning of the summer we have had around a dozen and a half flowers bloom between our two bushes.

I love having fresh flowers inside our house. They are pretty and smell good. I love even more when those flowers come from our flower bed. There is something about planting a bush, watering it, fertilizing it and watching it bloom that gives you a sense of accomplishment.
