So I follow directions and head towards the sound of my husband's voice, into the kitchen.
And what do I find? My daughter, standing in front of the open pantry door, with her entire arm inside an open bag of Doritos chips. Her mouth is covered in orange, artificial cheesy goodness. She looks very pleased with herself.
After laughing and, of course, grabbing the camera and taking a few pictures, I attempt to get the bag of chips back from her. That's a no-go. She takes off, bag of chips hugged to her chest, and heads for our bedroom. My only thought, "We have WHITE sheets!". Actually, I take that back, I also thought, "And the bed's not made!"So off Steve and I, and our two dogs go. Someone's got to get that bag of chips! We find her sitting on our bedroom floor guarding this chip bag as if her little life depended on it. She had found a gold mine and was not going to give it up without a fight.
After a small compromise (she got to eat two more chips) I got the bag back. Next order of business, wiping the remains of said chips off before they ended up all over my sheets and everywhere else.
Then I left to rearrange the pantry.

LOL I have a feeling my little one will be the same way...especially with food! She freaks out if she plays with Daddy's glasses or the remote control and we take them away.

LOL. Sooooo cute, though! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! My son does the same thing and at any given point all you can do is smile and laugh. Thankfully he hasn't learned how to open the fridge yet to get his favorite snack: Cheese! He just points and yells cheese at the top of his lungs until we give in.
