Nate ~ Six Months

Nate,
   Nater-Patater, Natey, Brother, Buddy, my sweet boy, you are six months old. Six. Months. I can say, without a doubt, that this has been the quickest six months of my life. I thought that time flew when Autumn was a baby, but it seems to be in over drive with you. I am trying so hard to relish every moment of your baby days because they will so quickly be nothing but a memory.

Milestones: YOU HAVE ROLLED! After waiting for two months and watching you get all the way onto your side, you finally rolled all the way over from your back to your stomach!

The problem now is, you do not like being on your stomach, but you love to roll over. So, this is how this typically goes {Laid on your stomach-Roll over-Cry-Laid on your stomach-Roll over-Cry}, you get the idea.

Loves: Your sister! You love Autumn. If she is in the room, your eyes are fixated on her. The rest of us have to work for it, but she can make you smile and giggle instantly. Autumn loves you too! Last night, when Autumn and I were at the movies, while you and Daddy were at home, Autumn turned to me and said, I wish brother was here with us.

Hates: Being on your stomach or in a laying position at all. You want to be sitting upright so you can see everything! You are getting better at sitting on your own, but are still a little wabbly, so we have started propping you up in the corner of the couch and you love it!

Height/Weight: At your six month appointment you weighed in at 14 pounds and are 25 inches long! A far cry from the 5 pound 12 ounce infant we brought home six short months ago.

There was a time, when I was newly pregnant with you, that I could not imagine what our lives were going to be like with you in them. Now, I cannot imagine what our lives would be like without you.
