I have noticed lately how easily it is to get caught up in the day to day routines. To go through life on auto-pilot. I am continuously trying to remember to turn off my inner cruise control and actually experience the things that are going on around me, to be present in my own life. To be present in my daughter's life.
With life's routines comes monotony. With monotony comes numbness. If you spend everyday just trying to get through that day you become numb to the people around you. You become numb to life.
Thank you to those who snap me out of it, those people who pick me up, everyday.
