16 Week Bumpdate!

Well, here I am at 16 weeks (actually 16 weeks, 2 days to be specific). It doesn't feel like a month has gone by since the last bumpdate! While the first trimester seemed like it took forever, the second trimester feels like it is flying by! I am trying to remind myself to enjoy each moment being pregnant, as this will probably be the last time!

How far along: 16 weeks, 2 days

Weight Gain/Loss: 5.2 pounds gained. 

Feeling: Good. I have started getting a dull pain in my lower back. I remember getting the same sort of pain with Autumn, but do not remember it starting this early!

Maternity Clothes: I've bought one maternity shirt, on sale, at Old Navy and plan on going back to get a few more. I can still get by in my work pants using the Belly Band, but not for much longer. So, shirts/pants are on my shopping list as well.

Sleep: Sleeping is starting to become a struggle. I cannot remember the last time I slept through the night without waking up once or twice.

Food Cravings: Watermelon. If I could eat watermelon all day long, I would.

Movement: I have started to feel a few flutters, but nothing on a regular basis yet.

What I miss: Feeling comfortable in my clothes. Right now, since I do not have a wide range of maternity clothes, nothing I have is fitting me right and I feel awkward in most things. I also miss my clear skin. I was never one to have breakouts, and even with my first pregnancy this was a symptom I missed, but boy has it shown up this go around!

Best moment this week: Well, it is actually from two weeks ago. Finding out we are having a little boy!

What I'm looking forward to: Finishing up the nursery and buying my first baby boy outfit!  

Next Appointment: August 15th at 19 weeks, 4 days!

Milestones: Finding out there is a little baby boy cooking in there!
