The days and the weeks and the months have gotten away from me. Here we are 5 days away from you turning 11 months old and I have dropped the ball on both your 9 AND 10 month updates. Add this onto the list of things you will one day discuss with a therapist.
Milestones: You have gone from sitting to pulling up on everything! If it is there it is meant to be climbed on and conquered. Your favorite place to stand up is next to the couch. Your second favorite is to pull up on the chair your sister eats in. However, you usually don't have much interest in this particular piece of furniture unless she is sitting in it. This doesn't go over well.
You are cutting four teeth simultaneously. This is one thing your sister didn't do. Her teeth came in slowly and one at a time. Like you, your teeth are in a hurry. I imagine by your first birthday you will have five or six teeth. Your sister had four.
Loves: Bath time. You love, love, love bath time. We got rid of your baby bath tub long ago. Now you sit in the tub just like your sister (with much less water). You crawl and splash until your heart is content, or the water gets too cold, whichever happens first. You make it your mission to make sure that there is nothing sitting on the ledge of the tub. Everything must get knocked over.
With your love of bath time comes the hatred of having to get out. This is a battle we fight every night.
Hates: Your car seat. Your dislike for your car seat is deep. You are fine with sitting in it if we are in the car, moving, but other than that it is a no go. You would much rather be strapped to the front of me in the baby bjorn. You can (and have) hung out for hours in the baby bjorn.
